Solar control film, UV-filtering film, safety film, intrusion-resistant film, HACCP compliant.
This film is referred to as safety film, commonly also known as intrusion-resistant window film. It is highly suitable for installation in schools on windows and doors at body height, helping to prevent children from falling or walking through glass. (NEN 3596)
This film is therefore also extremely effective in delaying break-ins. (EN 356)
The three types I recommend are:
- 4 mil silver 20
- 4 mil silver 35
- 4 mil clear
Apart from the clear film, the other two films have the same properties as standard film, but are significantly thicker (100 microns), ensuring the glass remains intact under heavy impact.
The clear film is particularly suitable for use in schools or childcare facilities.
